Umweltbank

Umweltbank is a sustainable bank with firm values and principles. The bank puts people and the protection of the planet at the center of its activities – humanity, tolerance and accountability. To ensure that every euro invested is aligned with these values, the bank has clear exclusion and inclusion criteria. Unweltbank is committed to processing and using savings and capital exclusively to promote environmental protection, including in the areas of renewable energies and smart and sustainable infrastructure. As a result, almost 1.2 million tons of CO2 in 2022 have been prevented, which equates to the annual CO2 emissions of around 100,000 inhabitants of Germany. In order to make its products competitive, Unweltbank has also developed the Umwelt Rating Geldanlagen, in order to evaluate all investments on a scale from one to five.
