CoopHalal

CoopHalal is the first Islamic cooperative of financial services in Spain, that offers interest-free financing for individuals and companies, in line with the principles of Islamic law. The entity was founded by a group of multidisciplinary professionals ie. economists, lawyers, former bankers and national and international financial advisors, Muslims and non-Muslims. It aims to consolidate itself as a new financial alternative in the Spanish market, promoting ethical finance for the benefit of both people and the planet. People and companies’ savings, serve a double function: on one hand, it strengthens the community by creating the foundations for a more sustainable future, and supports a social and economic model that helps improve the situation of many vulnerable people and communities.
